The fourth card is also called the turn. At Limit Hold’em, the betting limits are now rising. For example, suppose $ 10 / $ 20 is being played, players can now bet $ 20. The next player can then choose to call $ 20 or raise to $ 40. If the player is not good enough, it can fold. No Limit Hold’em can use any amount on the turn. When the betting round has ended, the last card is on the table, that is the river.
This bet may only be used again. At Limit Hold’em the first bet is then $ 20. If two or more players remain after the betting round, there is a showdown. The player with the highest five hand poker hand wins the whole pot. If players have the same hand, the pot is split, but this is usually not the case.
For example, if players on the flop are all in, no further betting rounds will take place. The world of poker are then simply put on the table and the player who first went all-in must turn the cards first. When three players are in a pot and one of them is all in, the game continues in the normal way.
That player then only wins the main pot. For example, the remaining two players can still bet on the turn and river. They then play the side pot. The player with fewer points is therefore only entitled to the main pot. For example, the main pot can be won by one player while the other player wins the side pot.
It often happens that only one player is left because the other players choose to fold. In this way, a player can win a pot without a showdown. The player does not have to show his cards. When player A places a bet and during a showdown last player, player A must first open his hand. If it turns out that player B can not beat this hand, he may throw his cards away. This is also called mucking.
